The Ride #ForTheKids Raises Over $100K for Lansdowne Foundation

Updated: Jul 25, 2022

Lansdowne Charity Motorcycle Ride event organizer Candace Kingyens with ride ambassador Zoe Duggan at the start line with over 300 riders for the 2022 Ride #ForTheKids, hosted at Brimich Logistics on July 9.

The 18th annual Lansdowne Charity Motorcycle Ride was the biggest Ride #ForTheKids yet! Raising over $100,000 (and still counting!), and featuring over 330 riders, it was a great day of fun and excitement with sponsors, community partners, staff, volunteers, riders and Lansdowne clients and families.

The Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation, who organized the annual event, has received wonderful feedback so far, and was thrilled with the new venue at Brimich Logistics and Packaging Ltd., calling it "a perfect fit for this event".

A very special thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers, staff and riders who participated and offered their generous support for the children, youth and families of Lansdowne Children's Centre.

Thank you to the Brantford Police for leading the ride, to music performer Chris Strei who provided entertainment, to Build-a-Bear Dave Kerr, to our clown Mark, to Blackbridge Harley-Davidson, and to everyone who participated and donated. There is no way we could have pulled this off without you!

Thank you Dan VanLandshoot for your amazing donation of pictures (and soon to be thank you video!).

Congratulations to our Harley-Davidson raffle winner Joe Dias.

We had our Top 3 Fundraisers - George Neven, Peter & Danielle Ostermeier and our very own ambassador Zoe Duggan!

All we can say is thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

Joe Dias was announced as raffle winner of the Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron motorcycle from Blackbridge Harley-Davidson in Cambridge.
