Brantford, ON - On July 10, 2024, the Brantford Expositor reported that Mayor Kevin Davis will be leaving the Mayor's Office "to spend more time with family and accept 'once-in-a-career' appointment."
Lansdowne Children's Centre and Foundation would like to extend sincere appreciation for the years of support, partnership and effort that Mayor Kevin Davis and his team at the City of Brantford have contributed to advancing the quality of care and services available for our community's children and families. #ForTheKids
Thank you Mayor Davis for your dedication to the children and families at Lansdowne Children's Centre. Among your many accomplishments you have also been a strong partner in the community effort to bring a new children’s treatment centre to Brantford. Best wishes for your next chapter!
Mayor Davis regularly attended Lansdowne Children's Centre events, participating in fundraising efforts including Heroes Walk and Roll, the Charity Motorcycle Ride and Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign, raising the Autism Ontario flag in Brantford to mark World Autism Day, and attending the Lansdowne Annual General Meeting.
Along with MPP Brantford-Brant Will Bouma, MP Larry Brock and County of Brant Mayor David Bailey, Mayor Davis has been a strong advocate for the City of Brantford and our region's need for a new, larger children's treatment centre. Mayor Davis was in attendance at Lansdowne's 39 Mount Pleasant Street site in January 2024 for the announcement that the Government of Ontario will be building a new children's treatment centre facility in Brantford.

Kevin Davis supported a number of good causes in the City of Brantford. Nonetheless his administration was riddled with corruption like Swiss Cheese. I regret to say that he had colluded and was party to covering up wrong doings by administrative and staff employees at the expense of the Public Trust.
