Remembering David Neely, Past Board Chair

It is with deep sadness that Lansdowne Children's Centre and Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation mourn the loss of David Neely, Past Board Chair of Lansdowne Foundation.


"David was our rock, a friend, and biggest supporter. We will miss him dearly," said Angee Turnbull, Lansdowne Foundation Executive Director. "This loss is felt by our organization and we grieve alongisde David's family. We will work to continue and grow Lansdowne Foundation as we know that would have brought him joy. Rest Dave, and thank you for everything."

David Neely served as Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation Board Chair from 2017 - 2020.

"David was passionately committed to the kids and families Lansdowne supports," said Rita-Marie Hadley, Executive Director of Lansdowne Children's Centre. "His long-standing service as a Foundation board member, included three years as Foundation Board Chair. He had just recently stepped down from the board as Past Chair at our 2022 Annual General Meeting. We will certainly miss David and remember his impact."


David Neely as Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation Board Chair was instrumental in establishing the annual HEROES WALK AND ROLL family fun carnival fundraiser.


The 2022 Heroes Walk and Roll event, the 4th annual, will be dedicated to David's memory and celebrate his leadership and spirited contributions as a volunteer board member for Lansdowne.
