City of Brantford to raise the Autism Ontario flag, APRIL 2 World Autism Day

2025 Autism awareness campaign promotes, Endless possibilities in every pattern


BRANTFORD, ON - The City of Brantford, along with community partners including Lansdowne Children's Centre, Grand Erie District School Board, Contact Brant, Crossing All Bridges and Woodview, will gather in Harmony Square, downtown Brantford on Wednesday, April 2 to celebrate the spectrum and World Autism Day in the telephone city.


Tie dye is the decoration of choice for the 2025 Autism awareness campaign organized by Autism Ontario. Attendees are encouraged to wear tie dye clothing and carry tie dye, colourful accessories to support the campaign's message, "endless possibilities in every pattern".


The flag-raising event will include guest speakers sharing messages of advocacy and support for persons with Autism diagnosis. Refreshments will be available after the event at a small reception hosted by Woodview in Harmony Square.
