Amping the energy for the hundreds of motorcycle ride participants excited to start the Ride #ForTheKids, three-piece rock combo 'BarCode' - from the great Telephone City of Brantford - will be on the stage during registration and pre-ride festivities - sponsored by Maria's Original Pizza.

Since forming in 2003, Bar Code the band has earned a positive reputation for accurate renditions of Classic Rock and Top 40 covers, as well as their unique approach and professionalism both on and offstage.

When riders and passengers return from the Ride #ForTheKids for a hot lunch provided by Strodes BBQ and Deli, the party starts again with Country Music cover band The Dirt Road Travelers from Burlington, Ontario.

Their live sets take you on a musical road trip, from the roots of country rock (Merle Haggard, George Jones) through to current superstars like Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and more.

All the day's festivities for the 19th annual Charity Motorcycle Ride #ForTheKids of Lansdowne Children's Centre will begin and end at the ride's home base - 15 Kraemer's Way in Brantford, at Oak Park Road off Highway 403. BIG thanks to our host, Brimich Logistics and Packaging Inc. for welcoming our event volunteers and guests on to their property.

There is still time to pre-register to participate in the event, online at wwwLansdowneMotorcycleRide.com

Registration is all-inclusive, providing ride participation, continental breakfast, hot lunch and two live music performances. The grounds will open for in-person registration and festivities at 9:00 a.m. and kickstands will go up to begin the no touch down, police escorted motorcycle tour of Grand River communities at 11:00 a.m. The ride route is expected to take 60 - 90 minutes to complete, before returning for lunch and more festivities.
