What do you know about Clinical Consultations?

Here are three tips to get you started:
  1. They are FREE appointments available within 2 weeks (almost no wait time)

  2. You and an Autism Therapist, trained in ABA, can talk about individualized strategies to build a skill or manage a behaviour

  3. You can book your appointment through your Family Support Worker

For more information contact Ely or Chantel, Family Support Workers,

Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Call 1-800-454-7186 (local 519-753-3153) ext. 268 or ext. 327,

Question of the month:

What is the difference between Goal-Based and Intensive ABA therapy?

Intensive ABA therapy typically involves more intervention hours over a longer period of time,

(6+ hours a week over 6 months).  This allows therapists to target many different skill domains.

Goal based therapy, given its shorter frequency and duration (1-6 hours over 3 months)  typically focuses on 1 or 2 key areas of need.
