Optometry Clinic

Paediatric vision assessments are available to children on the caseload of Lansdowne Children's Centre. Twice annually, assessments are completed by personnel from the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry Eye Care Centre. They investigate visual acuity, eye coordination, refraction, ocular health and colour vision. Dr. Wiggins, who conducts the assessments, along with students for the School of Optometry, has a particular interest in the visual needs of children with special needs. After the assessment is completed, findings are reviewed with parent.
