Every Kid Counts (EKC)
What is Every Kid Counts?
Every Kid Counts supports children and youth with Special needs to participate in local recreation programs of their choice. The Every Kid Counts initiative provides a staff person to assist in the inclusion of the child in the recreation program. This program is financially supported by the Lansdowne Childrens Centre Foundation.
Who is Eligible?
Children and Youth between the age of 6 and 18 who reside in Brant County and have a developmental delay and/or a physical disability.
What can I expect?
After the referral is received, you will be contacted by the EKC’s coordinator. A skilled support worker will be matched with your child for the activity/program in which they are registered . The support worker will assist your child to participate in and will help facilitate inclusion in all aspects of the activity.
